3D Prints for Research and Education
Description
These 3D models were derived from segmented regions of interest in DICOM datasets. They were then sculpted and modelled digitally to meet precise specifications. The models are designed for use in clinical education, patient communication, and flow modelling research.
Experimental phantoms or flow models can be designed for research purposes to minimize the use of biological specimens or human subjects during feasibility studies. This process can also be used to create simulation models for clinical training and can be integrated with virtual reality and interactive programs.
